Roxelana: The Sultan's Captive (1997) Part 2
The action takes place in the town of Rohatyn, where Stefan, the fiancé, has arrived from Lviv to visit his fiancée, Nastya Lisovskaya. They are preparing for their wedding, but the next morning, a detachment of Crimean Tatars bursts into the town. Some of the townspeople are killed, while the younger ones are captured and sold into slavery. Stefan manages to escape. An attempt to rescue Nastya proves unsuccessful.
We see Nastya's long journey from the famous slave school of Safar to the chambers of Suleiman the Great, the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. We witness the spark of true love igniting a feud in the empire's main palace, Topkape. This feud involves the Valide, the Sultan's mother, his first wife, Mahidevran, and the court's advisers.
Now in Topkape, Roxelana is known as Roxelana the Christian. In the name of her love, Roxolana decides to convert to Islam, and everything is being prepared for the wedding celebrations.
