Bishop T.D. Jakes tribute to Gospel artist Bishop Iona Locke will make you cry
Bishop Iona Locke was a gospel singer and well known for being Bishop of a Parish who was consecrated on the 23rd of August 2000. She was born in Pittsburgh and was awarded a Ph.D. in Theology and Divinity Programs. She died on the 18th of December 2020 at age 72.
T.D. Jakes, who leads The Potter’s House megachurch headquartered in Dallas, Texas, called Locke “one of the greatest orators I had ever witnessed” in an extended tribute on Instagram.
