Hello, dear friends! You're on Anton Malyar's channel, and in this video, we'll be treating the rusty body of a 10-year-old Volvo. Many have dreamed of owning such a car, and for good reason, because the Volvo XC70 can be an excellent all-wheel-drive wagon for all occasions. But no one is prepared for what it turns into after 10 years. We'll save this car with the right anti-corrosion treatment! I'll show you every step of the anti-corrosion treatment process, which will be very challenging because there's a lot of work involved. Anti-corrosion treatment with complete disassembly is a challenging task. It will be very interesting for anyone with a passion! Let's go!
The following work was performed on this Volvo:
1. The car was completely disassembled: the fender liners and all underbody protection were removed, the fuel tank, driveshaft, and muffler were removed. The bumpers were removed.
2. The car was loaded onto a tow truck and taken to a sandblaster for rust removal.
3. The body was primed with two primers: epoxy and acrylic.
4. The car was covered with stickers to avoid spraying unnecessary areas.
5. Anticorrosion was applied to the underbody and wheel arches.
6. The next day, anticorrosion compound for hidden cavities was applied.
7. The car was reassembled, followed by sealing of all necessary surfaces.
