A short description: The book follows various different point of views in a world of Phantoms, magical creatures that can create contracts with humans, which makes them very powerful. We have a focus on the Decanary family, a family that never surrenders against anyone. This is until the king of the continent creates a special weapon and readies his army for a massive invasion.
The book is similar to Game of Thrones. There are many battles, people die, and some are tortured. It's tough stuff
