Stance and Skin Phillips got together to have an art show of epic proportions to celebrate the release of the Skin Phillips X Stance collaborative socks for Spring 2018. The show included photos by Skin Phillips, original artwork by Mark Gonzales and hand framing by Matt Hensley.

Growing up on the gritty streets of Swansea, South Wales, life could have gone one of two ways for Skin Phillips. But an obsession with the surf and skate culture from an early age led to his
salvation. He began taking photos in the early 80s, contributing to local zines and building a skate scene that became known all over Europe. By the end of the decade he had become a regular contributor to RAD magazine. After years of couch surfing, he got a job as an
Editor/Staff Photographer at Transworld Skateboarding and moved to San Diego, where for the next three decades he documented the careers of the world’s greatest skateboarders.
