PJG files are JPEG image files using a non-standard file extension. They contain standard JPEG compressed image data identical to JPG files but with an alternate extension sometimes used by specific camera models scanning software or image processing applications.
PJG image files use the same JFIF JPEG encoding as standard JPG files with DCT-based lossy compression EXIF metadata and optional ICC color profiles. The non-standard extension is the only difference from conventional JPEG files which may prevent automatic association with image viewers.

1️⃣ Quick Rename Method
Simply rename the file extension from PJG to JPG. Right-click the file select Rename and change the extension. Windows may warn about changing extensions which is safe to confirm. The renamed file opens immediately in any image viewer or browser since the internal format is standard JPEG.
2️⃣ Opening Without Renaming
Open the PJG file directly in GIMP IrfanView or Photoshop using File then Open and selecting All Files from the file type filter. These applications read the JPEG data regardless of the file extension. VLC and web browsers can also display PJG files when opened directly through their file menu.
3️⃣ Batch Converting
