ICP's Price Chart is a Crypto IQ Test
Most people look at ICP’s all-time price chart, see the massive launch spike, and dismiss it without asking the deeper question: what can this blockchain actually do? In this video, I compare ICP against the rest of the crypto market and explain why looking only at price charts can make investors miss the most important thing: real technology and utility.
I talk through how many major coins have also been down over the last year, including Bitcoin BTC, Ethereum ETH, XRP, Solana SOL, Dogecoin DOGE, Cardano ADA, Stellar XLM, Litecoin LTC, Bittensor TAO, Chainlink LINK, and Casper CSPR. The point is that ICP’s price chart is not the full story. Many coins have weak yearly charts, but ICP has something most of them do not: the ability to host real websites, applications, data, and AI-built businesses directly on-chain.
I also go through other altcoins and tickers including Pi Network PI, Polkadot DOT, Uniswap UNI, Cronos CRO, Sui SUI, Shiba Inu SHIB, Hedera HBAR, Avalanche AVAX, MemeCore M, Ethereum Classic ETC, KuCoin Token KCS, Algorand ALGO, Polygon POL, Quant QNT, Toncoin TON, and Zcash ZEC to show how easy it is to get distracted by charts, hype, narratives, exchange coins, meme coins, and old crypto stories instead of asking what actually matters.
My argument is simple: ICP’s price chart tests whether you can look beyond superficial market data and investigate the technology. When you go past the chart and see Caffeine AI, on-chain websites, canisters, cybercrime resistance, verifiable AI, and real blockchain utility, ICP looks completely different from almost everything else in crypto.
