People are always shocked to hear mommy and daddy have goats. They exclaim, "You have GOATS??" as if it is so strange! So, we want to share our lives with the world, so people will see that "Goats are loving, smart and super FUN!"

ORDER OUR BOOK! We wrote a book called, "The Adventures of Pumpkin and Cookie! Cookie Doesn’t Want to Be a Goat!" This is a great book to help us all learn that we don’t have to try to be someone else. There is only ONE of us in the world and we just need to be the best we can be! It's a wonderful book for kids of all ages ... even adult ones!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: The book is beautifully illustrated by Sherri Connell, the author and owner of the Goatta Be Me goats! Sherri used to sing and dance in musicals, act in commercials and was working on her Master's Degree when she lost it all, due to Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease, Head, Neck and Back Injuries, as well as other complications. She studied Art in High School and College, but is no longer able to paint. Therefore she creatively used actual photos of the animals and digitally painted them on her computer. It was extremely difficult for Sherri, because she is unable to even care for her own daily needs. Her husband Wayne graciously helped her make this happen. Unfortunately, although she would like to create another book someday, we are not sure if and when that will happen.
HELP ANIMALS FIND HOMES! We don’t focus on making money on the book. In fact, it's our dream to help fund rescues, sanctuaries and shelters with proceeds from our book! We have a mission to help other goats and animals find safe and loving homes like we have! So, we wrote a book that we like to use to help raise funds for animal rescues and shelters! Join us in our endeavor to find forever homes for abused, rescued, relinquished and homeless animals! See details on our website. WHY DID WE CHANGE THE NAME? “The Adventures of Pumpkin and Cookie” is still forever a part of the new "Goatta Be Me!" In 2013 the beautiful, amazing, smart and loving Pumpkin and Cookie became a part of our family! Our lives were forever changed with these incredible babies who have given us so much joy, love and laughter! Sadly, on Christmas Eve Day in 2020, Cookie passed away. In the midst of our deep, deep grief, we needed to find Pumpkin a companion right away. So we called Lil Forest Rascals (www.LilForestRascals.com), where we got Pumpkin and Cookie. They just so happened to have a sweet 8 month old girl we could adopt, who is also Pumpkin’s niece! They blessed us with this little teddy bear and we named her Miss Java Latte to go with our long-running theme of sweets names and to honor Cookie’s mom, Java! Pumpkin and Java are still getting to know one another and we are still grieving the loss of Cookie, but we are blessed to have this sweet little girl here to love us all through it!
COOKIE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS AND PART OF OUR LIVES: We are not moving on without Cookie! Cookie will live on in our hearts, lives, channels and pages as our Angel Cookie, watching over us! We still have more content to upload and none of The Adventures of Pumpkin and Cookie videos are ever going away!
