The HTTP/2 Module in NGINX
NGINX keeps up-to-date with modern technologies and latest industry trends. And it was one of the pioneers who started to support the SPDY protocol. But SPDY, being almost the same as HTTP/2, had the "experimental" status, that was one of the obstacles for its wide usage. Now we have HTTP/2, the SPDY successor. In some minor details HTTP/2 is better than SPDY, but at some points it's worse. Anyway, 2016 will be the year of switching from SPDY to HTTP/2 and NGINX is going to be in the frontline there to bring the best possible support of HTTP/2 to your web applications. In this short talk, Valentin Bartenev (Core Developer at NGINX) will cover most of the questions about the new protocol and its implementation in NGINX.
