Its function is as a stand-alone server (localhost), which consists of a program the Apache HTTP Server, MySQL database, and translator written in the programming language PHP and Perl. While the Virtual Host is the fruit of the apache webserver feature that allows a computer installed therein apache have a lot of domains using a single IP only.
