Traxxas Xmaxx 8S - ESC "Critical Error"
Unfortunately we have become a victim of the failed esc that Traxxas has put out with the Xmaxx 8S. After calling customer support, they asked if we could ship the esc along with the motor so they cause do some tests and see why we are getting this code. If you are unsure of what the critical error code is. It is when the green light and all 3 of the red lights stay on and stay solid. The throttle function is also unavailable. The steering servo should still function though. Also you can not turn the esc off. The only way to turn it off is by disconnecting the batteries. Traxxas support said it should take about 5 business days for them to do the test. If you include all the days for shipping it should take a little less than 2 weeks.
