I Turned My Raspberry Pi 5 Into a Mini PC – Elecrow OLED Case Build, Test & Review
In this video I build, test and review a mini PC case for the Raspberry Pi 5 from Elecrow.
This case turns a Raspberry Pi into a compact desktop-style computer with active cooling, an OLED system display, and optional NVMe storage. In the video I show the full assembly process, run several stress tests, and share my honest review, including both the strengths and weaknesses of the case.
The case includes a 1.3-inch OLED display that can show system information such as CPU usage memory, and temperature in real time. It also supports PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD storage, which can significantly improve storage performance compared to a microSD card.
Cooling is handled by three built-in fans, designed to help keep the Raspberry Pi stable during heavier workloads. During the tests I check how well the cooling performs and what temperatures the system reaches under load.

At the moment the system in this video runs from a microSD card, although the case also supports installing an NVMe SSD using the Raspberry Pi 5 PCIe interface.
