See how easy it is to do this task, so let's go.
Select the image where you want to remove the background and go to the Picture Format tab, to the Remove Background option. Here you will enable two tools: one to maintain the original image size and the other to remove part of the image.
Let's use the first tool to keep the image. To do this, just click where you want to keep the image and now click on Keep Changes. You'll see that it has already removed the background. Now let's remove a part of the image. Select the part of the image to be removed and click Keep Changes. You'll see that it has already removed part of the image and the background.
Now it's easy to remove image backgrounds in Excel.
