Satya Das on jealousy

He believes that the reason a woman is jealous of her husband is because they started sleeping "quickly"—after three months of dating. And nothing can be done about jealousy, he says. Live like that.

I completely disagree with this. What does sex have to do with it? And is three months really enough to get to know someone quickly? And how often did they see each other during that time?

👀 My opinion:

🔻Jealousy comes from someone with low self-esteem, an insecure person who believes their partner can find someone better.

🔻Someone who feels they're being cheated on. There's intuition, but no proof.

🔻Someone who's too focused on their partner, like a "lovebird," doesn't have their own vibrant, interesting life.

🔻Someone who's dependent and afraid of losing them.

🔻When they're guilty of something.😅

🔻Who's given a reason, and it's justified.

In the case of the girl in the video, she was at least given a reason (her husband's correspondence with his ex-wife). We don't know the other details, but there's something else there. And what difference does it make when they started sleeping together, excuse me? What does that have to do with anything?

I would advise her:

Focus on yourself, not on your husband. Get the f*ck out of that guy 😄

What should she do?

1️⃣ Find a hobby, something she enjoys, a social circle where her husband isn't involved.

2️⃣ I would give her self-esteem exercises or refer her to a psychologist to help her develop healthy self-esteem.

3️⃣ Work on your personal boundaries, stop trying to adapt. Get to know your partner better, don't idealize, don't be afraid to offend or lose, and speak up when you don't like something.

4️⃣ Focus on your own fulfillment. Complaining about your partner usually stems from not making decisions that you should have made long ago.

5️⃣ Improve your relationship with your parents and family. Even if it seems like they don't understand you. Another plus is support and encouragement. A husband isn't your only loved one.

🔻 A partner's behavior is not a prerequisite for happiness.

What do you mean, Satya, is there nothing you can do about jealousy? 😅 Giving up and giving up isn't an option.

🔻You can't change the events of your life, but you can change your attitude toward them and your future.🦋
