What is Onomatopoeia?
Onomatopoeia refers to words that sound like the sounds they describe or, in other words, it is the naming of an action by a phonetic representation or imitation of the sound associated with it. Crash, roar, tweet, splat, boo, achoo, tip-tip are all examples of onomatopoeic words.
