Aphelions Rest Legend Lost Sector (1320) -
Aphelion's Rest is among the shortest lost sectors out there and is ideal for farming exotics! On 11/11/21, this lost sector was dropping Arm slot exotics with a Stasis Burn.
In our build, we focus on Le Monarque with a Threaded Needle to kill champions and the sector boss. We also use a Messenger pulse rifle in order to stun the Unstoppable Champions, so that we can do extra damage to them, killing them with 3 Heavy shots.
This general build will work for any class and subclass. In this video, we pair the Devour effect on Bottom Tree Void Warlock with Empowering Rift to do some extra damage. Our choice of Exotic is Sanguine Alchemy, allowing our Empowering Rifts to last forever. Since the Monarque does not have a catalyst and cannot generate orbs of power, we rely on Elemental Charge to proc our High Energy Fire, by way of Elemental Ordanance+Elemental Armaments.
The only necessary mods are the two unstoppable champion mods. In this video, I build around extra damage through some warlock mechanics and some extra survivability with Concussive Dampener+Sniper Damage resistance, but there are plenty of alternatives here.
The run shown was near-perfect. I should have been using Grenade far more often. The major improvement that could be made is the Super used at the end. If you throw it a bit later and position it on the spawn point of the monsters, it will kill the wave that is spawning AND the next one AND the boss with one or two extra Monarque shots :) With a perfect run, you can get close to 2:00!
