STEPS:
1. Gather scissors, a crochet hook, and 8 strands of 8-inch yarn. Adjust the number of strands for a different width and the length of the strands for a different-length tassel. An 8-inch strand will make a 3.75-inch tassel.
2. Insert crochet hook in any loop, coming from the direction you want the BOTTOM of your tassel.
3. From the center of the strands of yarn, pull through the loop, creating small loops with the strands.
4. Insert crochet hook through all the loops created by your strands and pull on any short strands to even them out.
5. Remove crochet hook from loops and insert your thumb and index finger, then pull all the ends of the strands of yarn through the strands-loop, trying to tighten all strands at once.
6. Trim ends of the tassel so they are the same length.
