A Day at TAPFORGE
Why is the first video on a woodworker's channel at a forge and not in a wood shop? First off, honing your craft is sometimes about drawing inspiration from other mediums and materials. Tucker has been a good friend of mine for over 20 years, and I always enjoy a shop visit. Watching him work with his hands as a machinist and as a blacksmith has been a huge inspiration in my own start in a different direction as a woodworker and woodturner.
So here's to you, brother. Thank you for your influence - both good and bad, your inspiration, and your guidance over the years.
