How to copy effects between images in bulk | CaseGuard Studio
In today’s video, we will be going over the Copy-Effect function in CaseGuard Studio for Image Redaction inside of an Album. The Copy-Effect function is a Manual Redaction tool and is great to use when you have to Redact an object such as a logo that is in the same location in multiple images.
There is no limit to how many images you can add to an Album, making it the perfect tool to Redact large numbers of images. Today, we’re going to Redact 1,500 images with just a few clicks using the Copy-Effect function.
To create an Album, click the Album icon at the top of your Workspace between the Save and Redaction Pool icons.
Add the files you would like to Redact.
Now you can name your Album and choose an export location, hit “Apply” when you’re ready.
To Redact, simply draw a Redaction box around the first logo in the Album, right-click, and select Copy-Effect.
The Copy Effects pop-up will appear, allowing you to choose if you want to copy the effect to all of the images in the Album or a selected range.
To apply the effect to a selected range, choose which image you want to start the Redaction effect on and which image you want to stop applying the effect on by typing the number or using the up and down arrows to select the desired photo.
When you’re ready, hit “Apply.”
We can now hit “Play” to review the files and then click “Export.”
Select the Open Project Folder icon and you can see your project with all the different files outside of CaseGuard.
There is a folder that contains copies of the original images added to CaseGuard Studio.
And a folder with the Redacted images from our Album, where you can see the Redactions have been applied correctly upon export and each image is available to you as a separate file.
The Copy-Effects feature is a great way to streamline your Manual Redaction process and save you time in CaseGuard Studio.
