This clip was shot in on an iPhone 4s using SloPro, an app that records video at 60fps. I set the app to record in "slowest" mode, which is about 60 frames per second. I then imported the clip into Adobe After Effects and converted it to a 24 frames per second clip, in the main "Interpret Footage" menu. I also applied color correction and a remove grain effect.
I checked the frame rate of the raw clip in Quicktime Player as well as in After Effects, and it is indeed 58.93 fps. However, previously i was unable to get anything more than 32fps out of the raw footage. It turned out that the problem was editing, a feature of the app: If I edit a clip's duration from inside the SloPro app, then the frame rate of the "60fps raw to iTunes" clip is changed. So if a user wants to edit a 60fps clip from SloPro, it's best to wait until the clip is imported into an editing application first.
Overall, I recommend SloPro as a fun app with an easy interface. It does what many thought were impossible: shoot real slow motion footage with an iPhone.
