How to make a RISER in Pro Tools with stock plugins
We learned this trick with our friends over at Wildhoney Music, the effect is very popular in EDM and the principle is super simple: a white noise clip created with the Pro Tools Signal Generator is processed through an instance of AIR Vintage Filter with the CUTOFF control automated to rise or fall at certain speed and a little bit of saturation from Avid Lo-Fi and Reverb from D-verb added to blend it in back in the mix.
