Setting Up CD-i Emulation in 2023... (NOT A TUTORIAL)
really the only reasons i'm posting this is:
1. it's been a while.
2. i personally had a lot of trouble figuring this out, and i'd REALLY rather not forget how to do this, because i do eventually plan to finally play the cursed cd-i trilogy for myself after all these years of knowing about it.
3. i might as well let other people know how to do this properly.
4. extension of reason 1; free content.
ironically, i found a reddit post that actually PRAISED SAME_CDI for being so much easier than previous emulators for the cd-i as i was uploading this video. so i guess it's somehow getting easier, but not easy enough fast enough. ease of use especially matters for emulation of a console this unknown and officially inaccessible. it's a double-edged sword though. i do understand that since this is such a forgotten console, there won't be much community work put into it. i guess i could try contributing...
