Synthstation 49 Ipad Keyboard from Akai: demo and review
This is so nearly the perfect setup. It's a synth, sequencer, pattern generator, midi workstation... so much for so little. But the simple fact is that the Synthstation app WILL crash every now and then, completely randomly, even if the system is not really under any stress at the time. And you will lose much of your work as well, it'll make sure of that. Akai had a new level of greatness right there in the palm of its hands but they've let it go. And apparently they have no plans to fix the app. So if you've bought one of these keyboards you can only use it in any serious way as a MIDI controller.
