Fix Black Myth Wukong Crashing PC Steam
Game crashing on Steam? Follow these steps to fix it.
Step 1: Close Steam Completely
Right-click the Steam icon in your system tray and select Exit. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and end any remaining Steam processes.
Step 2: Run Steam as Administrator
Right-click the Steam shortcut and select "Run as administrator."
Step 3: Verify Game Files
In Steam, right-click Black Myth Wukong - Properties - Installed Files - Verify integrity of game files.
Step 4: Add Launch Options
Try adding -dx11 or -dx12 in Launch Options. If neither works, delete all launch options.
Step 5: Configure b1.exe Compatibility
Navigate to the game directory. Right-click b1.exe - Properties - Compatibility tab. Check "Run this program as administrator" and "Disable fullscreen optimizations." Also select "Windows 8" under compatibility mode.
Step 6: Delete and Reverify
If not working, delete b1.exe, then verify game files again. Steam will download a fresh copy.
Restart your PC. Launch Black Myth Wukong.
