Allen standout QB Kyler Murray has been getting the job done with his arm this season as he has thrown for more the 2,000 yards and 22 touchdowns. And it did not take him long to add to those totals, how about the first offensive play of the game, Murray from his own 20 drops back and throws the LOOONG BOMB to Jalen Guyton and Guyton can walk it in from there, you can't start much better.....or can you? How about Allen's VERY NEXT offensive play after a Plano turnover, Murray back to pass, gets a little pressure, escapes that and then takes off coming right at you and gets in for the score, how about 2 plays and 2 touchdowns! Whata start for the Eagles!
Plano would settle down a bit and get things going, here Brooks Panhans calls his own number through the right side and dives in for the score, but Allen, as with most of their opponents, just too much too handle, 3rd quarter action now and the run game kicks in for the Eagles, here Murray gives to Jaelen Barlow who straight up the gut untouched from 24 yards out, then on Allen's next drive, Barlow again dices through the Plano D and then powers over 2 defenders to reach the goal line, Barlow a solid game with 113 yards rushing and 3 scores. Allen cruises to the 42-13 win to finish the regular season unbeaten, so that means Plano will face Skyline in the first round of the playoffs as Allen will get Lake Highlands
