Routing Maschine VST To FL Studio Mixer Tutorial
FL Studio & Maschine 2 Setup Checklist
Assign Base Channel Rack Track
Set the Maschine 2 instance in FL Studio's Channel Rack to your desired base Mixer Track number (for example, Track 1).
Configure Multi-Outputs (Wrapper Settings)
Open Maschine VST, click the Gear Icon (Wrapper Settings), and go to the Processing tab.
Click Auto map outputs.
Manually change 1. Maschine Out 1 to --- (Null) to prevent duplicate audio or doubling.
Route Maschine Sounds to External Outputs
Inside Maschine, select SOUND mode, then the Audio tab, then the Output tab.
Assign Pad 1 to Ext. 2 (routes to your first assigned FL mixer track).
Assign Pad 2 to Ext. 3, Pad 3 to Ext. 4, and continue sequentially for the rest of your kit.
Ensure the overall GROUP audio destination is set to Master (not an Ext. port).
Sync Pattern & Loop Lengths
Match FL Studio's Playlist pattern length to your Maschine pattern length (for example, 4 full bars) so notes and tails do not get cut off when looping.
Name Mixer Tracks
Select a Mixer Track in FL Studio, press Shift + F2 to rename, and use the Right Arrow key to quickly label consecutive tracks down the line.
