INSTACART SHOPPER TRIPLE BATCHES - LOW RATING RISK & ZERO TIP CUSTOMERS
Instacart has increased the amount of Triple Batches given to Instacart Shoppers. Triple Batches increase shoppers' risk for mistakes, resulting in lower ratings, which threaten shoppers' income. Instacart also hides the non tipping customers' orders in the triple batch and is not transparent with the batch amount breakdown. This puts shoppers' at great risk, as shopping for customers who do not tip often lead to more problems with ratings and claims of missing items.
Instacart Shoppers are quickly accepting Triple Batches and then cancelling one of the customer's within that batch. When shoppers do this, it affects their cancellation rate negatively and for some shoppers, Instacart is putting shoppers' account on a 24 hour hold as a consequence for cancelling one of the customers within that batch.
Instacart Shoppers need to know their worth and be proud of being Gig Economy Workers. We need to band and work together to get rid of the negative stigma associated with Gig Workers.
