A while back I showed you one way to activate the velocity sensitivity in Massive. In this tutorial, I will show you another way to get more expressive sounds by setting up velocity sensitive envelopes in Massive.
All you have to do is drag the slider, the VEL slider, in any envelope that is being used all the way up to 100%. The cool thing about using velocity sensitive envelops in Massive is the modulation options. You can set ENV1 VEL at a different level than 2,3 or 4 and have a host of modulated options responding to different velocities. Think of it as velocity sensitivity of steroids.
You can have your Cut Off filter open at max velocity, while you could set your reverb DRY WET to have less on lower velocities. The possibilities really become endless when you use the KeyTracking feature as well!
