How to fix Final Cut Pro X Red Bar & Missing Media In The Timeline
This is apparently a known bug in FCPX, and while this isn't a permanent fix it is a solution until the developers at Apple get around to it. Which I'm sure they're just sitting around, throwing darts and drinking Apple juice. :)
