An exploration of Tinkercad.com is focused on bringing up all hidden features of the tools & platform to the users. This tutorial discusses more about simple, yet powerful hidden features of the Tinkercad platform along with assignment suggestions.
There are a plethora of sensors, actuators, ICs, development boards and components listed in this one click simulatable platform. We identified basic features and utilized them in the beginning tutorials as a part of our course. However, there are still more uncommon features in the Tinkercad, which makes it even more attractive to an Electronic engineer. Firstly, Various sensors & their utilization options to simulate are just perfect fit for algorithm testing. Secondly, limitless actuators & their controlling ways to execute embedded systems are focused to serve the beginners. And, lastly, all other components provided in this platform are additional value to the user.
This tutorial objective was to create awareness about the unused features and hidden points about the Tinkercad. We dragged and dropped several sensors and an actuator on the breadboard without connecting to the Arduino development board or to the Attiny controller. Simply placing the components on the virtual simulator, helps us to see their controlling methods & skills to use them while simulating. We can discover how to build the digital electronic circuit, like an astable multivibrator using LM555 timer and linear power supplies using LM317. Altogether, the Tinkercad is an amazing & powerful tool or platform for one who started learning an Embedded system.
