To counter the growing burden of Noncommunicable Disease (NCDs), many health system leaders and global stakeholders are calling for more robust and routine facility-level data on NCDs such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and asthma.
This year, four HISP groups — from Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, and Rwanda — conducted rapid reviews of the existing NCD data availability and quality in each country’s DHIS2-based Health Management Information System (HMIS).
