6.5 CREEDMOOR DROPS WILD HOG!
Doug and Billy Jake got a opportunity to take out some wild hogs. You don't have to twist their arm to get them in the woods chasing critters. They got their gear together and prepared for a hunt. Doug decided to bring his 6.5 Creedmoor along on the hunt. This rifle is a proven sweet shooter and Doug feels very confident with it. The boys show up at the hunting spot and notice lots of wild hog sign on the walk to the blind. After setting up only about ten minutes goes by and Doug spots a wild hog coming their way. The large sow keeps approaching the blind. Doug squeezes the trigger of the 6.5 Creedmoor and drops the wild hog in its tracks. The boys celebrate a great hunt. The pork from this hog was delicious. Soaked in saltwater for a couple of days and then slow smoked with apple wood. Woo wee! It sure was tasty!!
