Hunter literally becomes the hunted as a lioness sneaks up on a leopard
Apart from the fact that leopards will not hesitate to kill a leopard cub. They are also competition. They kill some of the animals that could've potentially fed a lion. They are taking prey that could've fed a lion. Lions do not tolerate that: if you are a rival predator, a lion would not and will not hesitate to kill you, no matter what family you belong to.
