ENTRY LEVEL IT JOBS with no EXPERIENCE?? How to get your first IT job without prior job experience
How can it be that entry-level IT jobs require 2-3 years of job experience? In this video I talk about how to get your first IT job with no job experience. As with any entry-level job there is a learning curve, but that learning curve should not be 2-3 years. I think that hiring IT managers want more experience, but that the company is not willing to pay for it and so the position turns into an entry level IT position.
If you want to break into IT this can be a challenge and a problem. However, I think you need to ignore the experience requirement when you apply, but use your resume to showcase your IT Skills.
In this video I am mostly referring to entry level IT jobs in tech support or helpdesk related IT jobs, but in a way this applies to any entry-level job.
