Is French rap dead? A hellish question, isn't it? Let's put an end to it in this analysis.
In 2021, I asked rap listeners about the disappearance of rap within the next decade, particularly because of TikTok and Generation Alpha. At least, French rap as we've known it until now, especially after the streaming era, given that it had already undergone an evolution. Old School vs. New School, victory over TikTok, the breakthroughs of SDM, Tiakola, and WarEnd, the frustration with current French rap charts, the "Hip-Hop" cycle...

Rap hasn't been this vibrant in a long time, yet it wasn't a sure thing, and saying otherwise isn't entirely wrong.
