Happy Tree Silhouettes
This is just a quick slideshow of photos showing my process. This painting was designed for a beginner to have success.
Paints used are Liquitex: Mars Black, Titanium White, Unbleached Titanium, Ultramarine Blue, Brilliant Blue, Cadmium Red Medium, Cadmium Yellow Medium and Copper.
Brushes used are: 1" Flat Brush for the background
1" hogbristle brush for the splattering
1/2" angles brush for the tree silhouettes
small round brush to sign the paintings.
Paintings are done on 8 x 10 and 12 x 16 canvases.
As you can see in the video, I do not have a state of the art studio. I painted this on my bed with a drop cloth over the bed. You don't have to have it all to be creative.
