NSOU Admission 2021-22
NSOU is the second-best University functioning in West Bengal and the only State Open University. The core values of the College believe that education is for everyone and should be imparted to everyone equally. UGC has approved the University, Distance Education Council, and AIU. The courses range from under graduation degrees to post-graduation degrees.
The admission to the College is made on a merit basis, and the mode of registration is Online. The unique feature of the College is the implementation of the SWAYAM scheme. NSOU offers an opportunity for the applicant to design their course by applying to the subject they are interested in. NSOU Admission 2021 is open both through the mode of entrance exam basis and merit basis.
Entrance exams are held at the National, University, and state levels. Aspirants are required To clear the entrance exam considered eligible for their desired course. Some courses are given on basis of entrance exam clearance these courses have their personally acceptable entrance exam for admissions.
UG Courses
BSc: 10+2 in Science stream. Merit-based admissions.
BA: Aspirant having 50% marks in Intermediate is eligible.
BCA: Candidate must possess the HSC certification is eligible.
BSW: The 10+2 passed students are eligible.
B.Com: 12-year education from a recognized board with 50% marks.
B.Lib.I.Sc: Intermediate with at least a 50% score.
B.Ed: Required eligibility for admission is 40% in graduation.
PG Courses
MSc: BSc graduates with good marks are eligible.
MA: A graduation degree in Arts is eligible.
M.Com: An undergraduate degree with not less than a 50% score is eligible.
MCA: The BCA graduates are eligible. A merit score of BCA is considered for admission.
MSW: A minimum of 50% aggregate score in graduation.
M.Lib.I.Sc: graduation with a 50% score is the eligibility required.
PhD: The eligibility is a PG degree in the related stream.
NSOU Application Form Process 2021
Visit the NSOU website to check details for the applications and fill them in there. There is INR 900 for certificate and PG Diploma courses and INR 500 for UG and PG registrations. This fee will be payable by a demand draft in favor of NSOU.
