You want to become a freelancer. What do you need to know before taking the plunge? What mistakes should you avoid, what are the essential things to know?

I want to clarify something that might not have been clear in the video.
• If you're not yet a seasoned, solid developer, you don't have a choice: it's short-term projects, selling packages, selling bundles.
• And as soon as you're a solid, established developer, that's when you have access to long-term projects. Big projects that last for months. And at that point, you generally don't look back. 😀 To work on projects paying €500/day (or more) that last for months, you're necessarily working on very large app projects. With other developers. Using agile methodologies. In short, you're moving up a level.
But you have to start somewhere.
