Keith's program is designed for second - eighth graders that are at least one grade level behind in reading comprehension. This is not an impersonal computer program - Keith will visit your home (online) and work with you and your child one on one twice a week. If a parent drops off their child at a traditional tutoring location, they don't actually learn how to teach their child to read or how their child learns in general. With one on one online tutoring with Keith, parents will learn why he is doing what he is doing.
Keith will teach parents how to work with ADHD and dylexic children in general. He won't just cover why your child can't read, he will give you insight into why they can't follow verbal instructions and why homework you know has been competed can't seem to make the short journey from home ot school. You will learn the secrets an eleven year old uses to turn a backpack into a sucking black hole.
Keith is not interested in the whole language verses phonics debate. He uses...whatever works. Keith's approach is multisensory - he uses a variety of activities, games, creative skits, and techniques. The student is never engaged in any one strategy for long. Keith shifts from one strategy to another rapidly and teaches the parents to do the same. This approach works well with ADHD children. The true enemy of learning is...boredom.

Keith's first online visit is free. He will evaluate your child and determine the best course of action. He will conduct the shortes reading test in the world - no really.
Keith will visit/Zoom the home twice a week for tutoring sessions followed by parent coaching sessions.
Keith instructs parents on exactly what to do between sessions. If parents can work with their child 15 minutes a day using Keith's techniques, they will get incredible results.
There is NO monthly contract required and Keith's goal is to get your child to grade level as rapidly as possible and conclude his services. Max time of program is usually 3 - 4 months.
Keith is comfortable working with students that have ADHD, Dylsexia, and CAPD (Central Audio Processing Disorder). As a matter of fact, Keith has all three himself. Keith stayed back in third grade because he could not read.
Keith truly understands students that are struggling to read at even the most basic level, he was a non reader himself.
Your child will find this uplifting. Keith can bend down, look him in the eye and say, "I stayed back in third grade and could not read - now I speed read."
Keith will teach you multi sensory drills that will enable you to improve your child's fluency, phonological awarness, vowel and blends actualization, and reading comprehension.
Once the child has acheived reading at grade level, Keith can even move on to reading EOG test preperation.
