DIY: Hydroponic Lettuce Seedlings - Algae Proofing - Issues Found
The starter grid, which is used to grow sprouts until they're big enough for production, had a couple of setbacks that needed urgent fixing. Which ultimately lead to abandoning the approach.
Nutrient solution needs to touch the base of the foam mat initially to help facilitate new sprouts roots reach the water. The plastic is also loose fitting, so there are spots where it's bunching up. This is where the problem started.
