How to Set Up and Take Down the CORE 11 Person Family Cabin Tent with Screen Room
Here is how to set up the CORE 11 Person Famly Cabin Tent:
1. Unfold the tent, and the tent legs and move into position
2. Next, assemble all of the various color-coded poles.
3. Insert the poles in the corresponding color-coded sections:
a) The black fiberglass poles go directly on top of the tent, grey poles on the sides of the roof, the orange at the front, and six thick black steel poles to hold the hold tent up.
4. Stake down the tent base to help with stability
5. Then finish attaching the additional front porch support poles
6. Attach and secure the rainfly using the rainfly clips and ties.
7. Finally, stake down rainfly guylines for additional wind protection.
It took me about 20 minutes by myself to put up the tent, and an additional 5 minutes for the ranfly. With a second or third person helping you can easily set it up in half the time.
Now, here is how to take down the CORE 11 Person Family Cabin Tent
1. Start by opening the doors to allow for airflow
2. Detach the tent stakes and release any additional guylines, clips, or attachments
3. Remove the rainfly clips, velcro, and rainfly itself
4. Find and click each release button on the pre-attached poles until they start to collapse down
5. Collapse the tent structure
6. Fold the tent legs back towards the middle of the tent
7. Walk, fold, and roll the tent back together
8. Finally, Place the tent back into the tent bag
That’s it. Taking down this tent took me 15 minutes, but can be sped up significantly with help.
