Have you ever wondered how hollow plastic items are made? Most modern hollow plastics today are created using a blow molding machine. The process begins by heating the plastic until it's pliable. Then, air is blown into the molten plastic inside a mold, causing it to expand and take the shape of the mold’s cavity. This idea originated in 1938 when Enoch Ferngren and William Kopitke observed people glassblowing while making glass products.
