R5 Mark II: Brutally Honest Long Term Review
After 18 months using the Canon R5 Mark II as the main camera for my production company, here’s the real story.
The 45MP sensor, 8K RAW, C-Log 2, 4K120 and insane autofocus elevated my work—but overheating, soft 4K60, huge files, and the $400 cooling grip changed my workflow. This is my real world review of the Canon R5 Mark II.
Would I buy it again in 2026? Here’s my honest answer.
