First tests of the crazy GAZ 66 with a diesel engine
Friends, you're on Takami Makar's channel. I'm Makar, and in this episode, we've finally reached the most stubborn part of our Shishiga—the suspension. We decided to install long-travel springs, try out new mounts, choose shock absorbers, and try to turn the GAZ-66 into something resembling a rally car.
Along the way, of course, everything went wrong: the clutch hesitates for three seconds, the brakes dive like a Ural, the mounts don't fit, the springs take on a life of their own, and we're drilling, cutting, painting, and arguing about where everything should go.
