How Hard Is It To Beat Skyfactory 4? | Minecraft Modpack
After the fascinating pack that was Skyfactory 5, I wanted to go back and finally beat Skyfactory 4!
SF4's whole deal is trees. You can make saplings for most of the resources you need, and using bonsai pots, as well as super powerful new dirt and mulch, you can make a massive factory of tiny trees.
This pack is unique in several ways, mainly that it has a "Prestige" system, basically locking mods behind completing a ton of achievements, or using special machines to mess with spacetime. But all of that is very annoying to do, however you need it enabled to get the best modded items, so I skipped past it, and just gave myself the points.
Besides that, it kind of sucks that a lot of end-game resources are from mods that aren't integrated with trees, so you need other ways of getting them, some of which also don't work very well.
The real shame of this pack is the lack of good builders wands. There is the building gadgets mod, but sadly that doesn't work well with some mods and machines. Truly a shame, since it took hours to build all the late-game Nuclearcraft stuff.
Still, it was a very fun and interesting experience overall. I love the Construct Armory mod, which is Tinker's Construct, but for armor, and it's as awesome as it sounds. I also got to play with Nuclearcraft for the second time, and it's always so much fun, especially fusion near the end. And that's not even mentioning the absolute classic: Mekanism.
