Mixing Metal: minimal & easy approach
Sorry for the bad English. This video is about how "I" mix metal drums, guitars, bass and lead guitar with the help of visualized equalizer. balancing lows and highs and scooped mids is the key.
suggestion: 1. If the drums are too hot for your taste roll off the shells a dB or so.
2. if you're copying my exact moves route all instruments to a separate channel with analog emulated eq: add 2 dB of 5.2k and 2 dB of 120.
