Dont starve, and dont starve together is an indie game created by the franchise Klei. Play as one of the 21 characters, Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, Woodie, Wickerbottom, Webber, Wigfrid, Maxwell, WX-78, Wheeler, Wagstaff, Winona, Wormwood, Wes, Walani, Warly, Wilbur, Wilba, Woodlegs, Wortox, or Wanda in an attempt to not only survive but uncover the secrets of this strange world around you. Whether that be defeating the ancient fuelweaver and earning the leader of the shadows Charlies favor, making it to the moon and defeating the lunar champion, uncovering the ruins of the ancients long before you, or killing toadstool if you want a pointless challenge. Dont starve has several worlds for players to explore as well such as The Gorge, The Forge, Hamlet, and Shipwrecked.
Spiders currently are the most powerful all around faction in dont starve. And oh gosh, these guys are everywhere...(except hamlet). However what makes them most effective are actually their variants, and not their numbers, though their extreme numbers do help. The warrior spider and depth dwellers leap at enemies, the cave spider can tank like no other, the spitter spider can snipe webbers enemies.

The shattered spider can spike the area in front of it, The sea strider strides at sea, and the nurse spider tactically deploys Obamacare for all spiders around itself. And the standard spider has the benefit of being a spider.
All These spiders in various combinations with eachother make certain webber armies nigh undefeatable by certain bosses, allowing webber to effectively lead the charge in many objectives. However you probably should be playing as webber when you try this.
