The Airport Transit System at Chicago O’Hare opened in 1993. In 2019, it closed for two years, undergoing renovations. Part of the renovations included a brand new fleet of trains. So, what happened to the old trains? Well, you can still see them all! They have been placed on a small lot on the south side of the airport, near the intersections of Irving Park Rd and Taft Ave.
