Sisler CREATE on Teaching and Mentorship in Animation
Sisler CREATE is an entertainment arts training program located at Sisler High School which provides students with educational and career pathways to the creative industries. Students can study film, animation, game design, among a wide variety of creative fields.
We invited Sisler CREATE’s department head, Jamie Leduc, mentor Arnon Manor (VP of Visual Effects at Sony Pictures), as well as students and alumni Anjali Sidhu, Everett Dawson and Sam Balanial to discuss their experiences in the Sisler CREATE program and how schools can work with animation studios to make art careers more accessible.
