Both Starburst Enterprise and Starburst Galaxy offer cluster autoscaling. This feature allows clusters to dynamically and automatically scale according to the current query load. With cluster autoscaling, you can choose a cluster size range that suits your needs, resulting in cost and time savings. Starburst Galaxy has three ways to non-disruptively scale a running cluster - autoscaling the cluster, manually updating the cluster configuration, and, in special cases, manually updating to or from the free tier.
In this video, part 3 of a 3-part series, we show how to manually scale a cluster up and down.
